On July 18, 2013, JT Blinds was proud to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to the Genesis House in Pacoima, CA. The Genesis House is a wonderful new project spearheaded by Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, California Home Builders and Home Aid in order to provide shelter and restoration for homeless women and their children. JT Blinds was amongst 60 honored suppliers and companies that donated their time and services to help make this much needed house a reality. The idea for the Genesis House came about when the building’s original owner offered the former Nun’s training facility to Ken Craft, the CEO of Hope of the Valley. Los Angeles 7th District Councilman Felipe Fuentes was on hand to speak at the event and to offer his continual support behind this project and future one’s to come. The Genesis House is now open and ready to serve the San Fernando Valley community. For more information on the project, learn how to donate services, materials or money, or if you know a family in need, please contact Hope of the Valley at www.hopeofthevalley.org today.
